MERDEKA 2025

Hi Insignians,

It’s been a while—here comes another newsletter to kick off a fresh season and a brand-new quarter.

This quarter also brings a meaningful celebration: National Day, or Hari Kebangsaan. It’s a time to reflect on the unity, diversity, and cultural richness that shape our nation—and continue to inspire our creative work. In this edition, you’ll find features that pay tribute to Malaysian design identity and the local elements we proudly incorporate into our projects.

As always, we begin with our regular curation of design highlights—featuring new project milestones, material inspirations, and creative concepts. Among them: Herbal Farmer at Sutera Mall, a fresh take on Traditional Chinese Medicine retail, and Plenitude Mandolin’s Sales Gallery & Show Unit, showcasing our full turnkey capability—from planning to interior execution.

We also introduce “The Happy Pills – Dopamine Concept”, a playful narrative inspired by the uplifting power of colour and form. In our Materials Spotlight, we explore the quiet luxury of onyx. Plus, we mark a heartfelt team milestone as we bid farewell to our colleague Han.

In celebration of National Day, we spotlight Malaysia-inspired design elements and offer an exclusive look at the Malaysia Pavilion at Expo 2025—an architectural expression of national pride on the world stage. We round off with a preview of Kuala Lumpur’s upcoming retail destinations, set to reshape the city’s commercial scene in 2025.

We hope this issue sparks inspiration and reminds us all of the stories, people, and cultural spirit behind every space we create.

From mountain tall to ocean blue,
This is our home—strong and true.
On this day, we celebrate free,
Forever united, we’ll always be.

Selamat Hari Kebangsaan from all of us!
